As impressive as AI is, humans are needed to interpret objects/media and teach the AI models, frankly, what’s what. The training work is easy. You will be asked by companies to detect people, places, and objects in text, classify visual images based on traits, categorize audio based on characteristics or sentiments, compare transcriptions against recordings, and perform other simple tasks.
Companies submit projects to platforms that match AI training projects with taskers. Here are some platforms that you can join:
- Neevo – this site is a top AI training platform, claiming over a million taskers across 50 languages who contribute to their platform. You’ll be asked to label, upload, or validate text, audio, or images/videos. The rate for each job varies based on how challenging the tasks are. Payment usually comes two weeks after a job is completed.
- Audio Bee – offers a variety of Al data training jobs such as translation, transcription, segmentation/annotation, and voice recording. To qualify for paid tasks, you must take a short test and finish training courses. You can set your own hours, but some jobs may have deadlines that you’ll have to meet.
- Dataforce by Transperfect – provides numerous data sourcing and data annotation tasks to train AI. For example, you’ll help train AI to recognize objects or turns of phrase by enriching visuals, audio, or text with explanations and tags. There is no limit to the number of tasks that you can undertake.
